Who We Are
The Hong Kong Retirement Schemes Association (HKRSA), established in 1996, is an independent, neutral and non‑commercial multi‑stakeholder platform dedicated to advancing sustainable and better retirement outcomes for Hong Kong. We bring together employers, service providers, policymakers, academics, and community partners to:
• Empower individuals and employers with accessible retirement planning knowledge and tools.
• Advocate informed, balanced and future‑ready perspectives on retirement income adequacy and system sustainability.
• Share best practices, research insights, and cross‑sector expertise to strengthen Hong Kong’s retirement ecosystem.
What We Do
HKRSA advances retirement wellbeing in Hong Kong through three core areas of work:
1. Promote Best Practices
We identify, curate, and promote evidence‑based best practices in retirement system design and planning. Through research, benchmarking, and knowledge exchange with local and international organizations, we support the adoption of effective, future‑ready approaches.
2. Facilitate Trusted, Neutral Dialogue
As a neutral and non‑commercial conduit, we provide trusted channels for engagement between members, policymakers, and key stakeholders. We contribute diverse, informed perspectives to support policy discussions on retirement income adequacy, financial protection, and long‑term system sustainability.
3. Provide Insights and Strengthen Community Connections
We deliver timely, curated insights on retirement industry and market developments through publications, seminars, webinars, and digital platforms. We also foster a collaborative community where members exchange experiences, share solutions, and build meaningful networks.
We are now inviting applications for the following position.
Communication and Event Manager
The Communication and Event Manager will lead event planning, sponsor engagement, and communications, ensuring the effective delivery of HKRSA’s programmes and initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee the programmes to implement the Association’s PR strategy.
• Plan and execute webinars, seminars, and major events in collaboration with Premier Sponsors.
• Manage publications including the monthly eNewsletter, Premier Sponsor Column, and LimeLighter.
• Coordinate media and community collaborations and ensure high-quality programme delivery.
• Develop promotional materials and maintain brand consistency across platforms.
• Support sponsor packages, event collateral, and creative design for flagship events (Annual Dinner, Christmas Luncheon).
• Identify collaboration opportunities with potential partners and sponsors.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or a related discipline;
• Minimum 5 years’ working experience in event management, brand and digital marketing, sponsor relations, or client management.
• Proficiency in marketing, digital platforms, and creative design.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
• A team player with strong presentation skills and the ability to work irregular hours when required.
