Derrick Ngai - Sports Therapist, Personal Trainer, and Educator Derrick Ngai began his journey in the fitness industry at the young age of 19 and has since cultivated a wealth of knowledge and experience in sports therapy, personal training, and education. With a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Therapy earned in 2021, Derrick has made it his mission to help clients overcome pain and physical limitations, while improving their overall health and performance. As an industry professional, Derrick is continuously seeking ways to further enhance his own practice and broaden his skillset. He is passionate about bridging the gap between traditional research-based therapy models and evidence-based practices, aiming to provide the most effective and cutting-edge solutions for his clients. Recognizing the importance of incorporating injury prevention and sports education into the school curriculum, Derrick is also committed to driving positive changes in the educational landscape. By collaborating with schools, educational departments, and sports organizations, Derrick endeavors to raise awareness about the significance of biomechanics and proper movement technique in reducing injury risk and promoting a healthier lifestyle. Over the years, Derrick’s dedication to his clients and the fitness community has made a lasting impact.
