Breast Cancer doesn't always mean Chemo EndoPredict is a multi-gene expression test for patients with your type of ER+/HER2- breast cancer.

常見的乳腺癌類型是雌激素受體陽性和HER2/neu 受體陰性（ER +，HER2-）。這類型的乳腺癌患者，有一部分需要一并進行內分泌（抗激素）治療以及化療，而幸運地一些患者則只需接受對身體傷害明顯較低之內分泌治療。那類才是最適合你的治療決定取決於一些能預測所患癌症的侵略性的因素。這些因素可能包括腫瘤大小和階段，或是否有任何擴散到淋巴結。 EndoPredict 是一項為 ER + / HER2- 類型的乳腺癌患者而設的多基因表達測試。 EndoPredict 能準確地鑑定出低風險女性群組，她們就算沒有接受化療也有一個大於95％的機率，擁有達到十年以上之無復發及無遠轉移的無癌症年期 (1)。EndoPredict 是同類產品中唯一的一種包含分析腫瘤大小、淋巴結狀態的臨床預後因素之高端基因表達測試，以建立結合基因表達（EP值）及腫瘤臨床狀態得出高度準確的 EPclin值，用以判斷乳癌遠轉移風險及治療方向。

There is a common type of breast cancer that is estrogen receptor positive and HER2/neu receptor negative (ER+, HER2-). Some patients with this type of breast cancer will require endocrine (anti-hormonal) therapy along with chemotherapy while some patients can be treated with endocrine therapy alone. The decision of which treatment may be best for you has traditionally been decided together with your doctor by looking at factors that predict how aggressive your cancer might be. These factors may include size and grade of tumor, or whether there has been any spread to lymph nodes. EndoPredict allows the identification of a Low Risk group of women that can expect a greater than 95% chance for metastases-free (distant recurrence free) survival for at least ten years when treated only with anti-hormonal therapy for five years.1 EndoPredict is the only test of its kind to combine the established clinical prognostic factors of tumor size and lymph node status with the genetic fingerprint of the tumor (EP score) into the EPclin Score.

於大型臨床研究 ABCSG-6 及 -8 中，根據傳統指引能被區分出高及低風險的乳線癌患者分別有 83人 及 248人，一貫指引已清楚表明屬低風險的病人很多時候化療對她們並不是必需程序。
而中間的 1371個病人則不能被傳統機制界定為高或低風險，很多此群組的病人於先代醫療過程中接受了化療，而我們現在知道此舉很有可能會令病人接受了不必要之化療，從而被界定為過度治療，弊多於利。
EndoPredict 基因預後檢測則能為此中間大多數的病人評估風險，仔細並精確地再細分此群組為高(840人)或低風險(531人)，比較於同類檢測更為準確，從而使更多病人能接受適當治療，有效地延長病人壽命。
