It’s been a while since we’ve had in-person gatherings but we are back! These photos are from last night’s meditation and yin yoga session. So happy to see many new faces! Cheers to our awesome team and yin teacher Tiffany for making it happen 🙌

Tsz Shan Institute in collaboration with the Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley have tailored the seminar and training program especially for a Hong Kong audience. The seminar introduces the evidence based research on the science of happiness in spiritual care, and the training program provides knowledge and practical skills for professionals in education, health care, social services, etc.,
and to awaken the loving-kindness within themselves. We all need to nurture our own well being while taking care of others.

[How Humour can Save the World, Sep 27th 2019]
What an evening! We laughed so much that so much of our stress of the week and concerns for the city were healed. We also discussed the scientific benefits of smiling and laughter, how we could learn to be more funny, and how to use it to connect and people and the society. Heartfelt thanks to Kate and Nury.
We will be continuing a discussion on spiritual intelligence this Friday evening. DM us for details!

A wonderful initiative starting on campus today 🥰

Our Story

In the beginning of 2018, four of us got together. We see friends around us going through confusion, anxiety and struggle. Like everyone else, we are also constantly trying to improve our resilience and inner peace. So we started The Art of Happiness.

We meet up once a week. Our regular practices includes mindfulness and relaxation exercises, such as meditation, yoga, deep listening and sharing. In our exploration sessions we invite guest speakers who are social workers, coaches and professors.

We are all looking for happiness in the long term. Not that longing for the Reading Week as we search for flight tickets during lectures. Nor that brief excitement when we walk down University Street in our new clothes. Imagine happiness that’s fulfilling, calm and always there. That is the kind of happiness we want to bring to more people.
