She was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, where she studied Visual Arts in the Pontifical Xavierian University. She completed an Integrative Master in Art Therapy in Barcelona. A degree granted by Girona University and Grefart.

In the past, she worked as a graphic designer, video creatives in Bogota, Cairo, Cebu, and Hong Kong. 
She became a teacher in HK and started an exploration in watercolor and photography as media she could feel like her own. 

Currently, Paula resides in Hong Kong, a city where she calls her second home.
