My passion in amplifying the incredible work and practice innovations by all my fellow Hong Kong creative arts therapists is always near and dear to me. I created this research to honor and amplify the journey of us bringing art therapy home.

This year I became a board member at alongside incredible folx like .lo . There will be more content from that work to keep amplifying the messages that supports mental health liberation like the following!

I’ve been away, bzzzin in my corner of the ecosystem of liberation and resistance. There are days when I felt incredibly burnt out and wonder why I do what I do. Today I passed my comprehensive examination and became a doctoral candidate. My happy tears fell and my heart is so full similar to how I felt when I recently created this piece as a reflection of witnessing someone’s journey.

Thank you for your continued support, I hope you are too keeping well so we can keep charging.

祝大家身體健康,事事如意! happy lunar new year y’all! I have not been far away but focused on my own growth and development this past year starting my PhD in counselor education and supervision. But thought I would pop on here to 同大家拜年🧧❤️❤️❤️

Part of the rituals that my family do is writing 揮春signifying intentions for the upcoming year.. I was reminded in this creative process that it’s not about getting it perfect. But the act of “keep going” is just as golden!

The curiosity about a powerful loss, in this case, my dearest cat of 15 years Mao, is that I took the opportunity to reprioritize my life. I took an inventory of what is there and decided what areas of my life I would like to be more intentional about.

And yes you’ve probably sensed that I have taken much step back from social media. I am definitely back very often to share with you insights and shifts to my journey as an educator, scholartvocate (scholar/artist/advocate), and art therapist.

I poured myself into writing and sculpting this article on a topic that holds near and dear to my heart. With the support of my friends, family, and mentor, I am honored and humbled to share with you my first peer reviewed article- Shifting Ethics of Care in Hong Kong 🇭🇰.

In the next month you can click on the link in my bio to access the free full version of this article. Please feel free to share with those you think might be interested💖
