Our first retreat of 2024 wrapped up this weekend.

Surrounded by trees, monkeys and incredible views at Kadoorie Centre, Hong Kong, we all gave ourselves the space to unwind, reset, contemplate and reconnect.

I’m so grateful to my co-facilitators and Gabi, who brought their unique guidance and offerings to this experience. It is a great pleasure to work with these inspirational ladies.

Bringing several practitioners together to host is so important, as everyone has a different style of teaching and a different perspective- and that yields a richer and more beneficial experience for participants.

My greatest privilege is being able to create a safe space for people to reconnect, rebalance and reset with themselves, and I’m already looking forward to our next retreat!

Here are some answers to your questions about next weekend’s retreat:

Q: Can I join even if I lack experience in yoga or meditation?

A: Absolutely, we welcome individuals of all levels. If you have never engaged in yoga or meditation before, this is an excellent chance to give it a try. Our classes and workshops are open to everyone.

Q: What type of food is provided?

A: Our meals are vegetarian, but rest assured, the portions are not small. We offer flavorful and satisfying food.

Q: What type of accommodation is available?

A: The accommodations at Kadoorie Centre are clean and comfortable. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom.

Q: Will I be required to share a room?

A: Yes, the room arrangements at the Kadoorie Centre involve sharing with other participants. However, most rooms have two beds, and only a small number of rooms have three beds. If you are attending with a friend or partner, priority will be given to assigning you a two-bed room.

Q: Will there be any breaks or are the workshops and classes consecutive?

A: Yes, there will be designated downtime between the classes. The schedule includes several opportunities for relaxation and free time.

Q: Am I obligated to participate in all of the workshops and classes?

A: No, you have the freedom to attend as much or as little as you prefer. However, it would be unfortunate to miss out on the valuable insights and experiences offered by our workshops and classes.

I’m honoured to introduce my co-facilitators for the upcoming retreat.

is the brilliant yoga teacher trainer who I did my training with. She is a force for good in Hong Kong, making the life-changing benefits of yoga accessible to all.

Gabi has been empowering others - in yoga and in life - through her yoga & mindfulness teaching since 2010. She has trained in yoga sutras, pranayama, chanting and meditation practices mainly in the Vini Yoga tradition in Hong Kong and India.

We look forward to meeting you at our upcoming retreat and guiding you on a journey of letting go.
