自幼受父親張連中醫師的燻陶，對中醫中藥產生濃厚興趣，經常跟隨父親上山採摘中草藥，從旁學習為病人診脈處方；並就讀本港私營及國內的中醫學院。
由1997年起親自創辦南方隆中醫藥業，附設中醫全科門診，主治奇難雜症，中醫皮膚科，骨傷科及中醫藥美容。
