【足科小知識－ #厚皮和雞眼】
厚皮和雞眼是普遍人都會有的足部問題，現在就讓我們了解下它們的症狀及出現原因。
厚皮形成:
1.先天性過量角質生增
2.足部形狀、走路姿勢、穿著的鞋子對物理上造成的壓力而引致。
症狀: 活動和站立時足部厚皮的位置感到痛楚或火燒感覺。
雞眼形成:
1.持續的壓力集中於足部的一個點會首先形成厚皮, 然後在厚皮的壓力中心點, 於真皮層會形成圓錐形的核心硬皮。
2.雞眼共分為5種: 硬, 軟, 谷種, 纖維, 神經血管
症狀: 活動或站立時足部雞眼位置感覺比厚皮更大痛楚。

General Treatment: callus and corns:
We provide professional diagnosis for callus and corns, various conservative treatment choices, and patients’ self-care plans.
Callus: Thickened or hardened skin due to 1. diffuse area of hyperkerytosis or 2. Friction and pressure from mechanical forces. Symptoms are pain, burning sensation when weight bearing.
Corns: Later stage from callosity. 1. Conical nucleus projects into skin (dermis layer) due to high pressure point. 2. 5 types of corns: heloma durum(hard corn), heloma molle(soft corn), heloma milliare(seed corn), fibrous corn, neurovascular corn. Symptoms are more severe pain than callus when weight bearing
