Patient and clinician exposure to art and nature in clinical settings can have positive impacts on healing outcomes: significantly reduced painkillers, better morale, and reduced hospital stays.

In an effort to produce positive outcomes for my clients, I have plants, art, and music in my office to support their healing with chiropractic care.

One interesting finding from the research on art in clinical settings was a preference for art depicting nature settings versus abstract images. What’s your opinion? Do you prefer nature or the abstract when you’re at the doctor?
