Trump diagnosed with CVI: What is that? How could it might be treated?
Chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) is where your leg veins become damaged and cannot work properly as they should. In normal circumstances, your valves in your leg veins keep blood flowing back up to your heart. But CVI damages these valves, causing blood to stay in your legs. This will increase pressure into your leg veins and will cause symptoms like swelling and ulcers.
