"DIGITALNA (R)EVOLUCIJA: WHO IS THE NEXT CROATIAN UNICORN?

At a time when Croatia is positioned at the bottom of the technology application scale in Europe, it is important to be aware that the domestic IT sandbox is teeming with interesting players and even more interesting ideas, allowing us to compete with much larger brothers and sisters in the European family. The Digital (R)evolution has once again confirmed itself as an incubator of this reality.

"To accelerate digitization, it is crucial to raise awareness of the irreversible changes happening and reduce resistance to the use of new technologies. The best way to achieve this is by presenting successful projects implemented in other companies. This is not a technology conference; we are not speaking in engineering language but in the language of employers and everyday examples where technology can help us," announced Ivan Maglić, Program Director of the Digital (R)evolution.

Representing our colors on the central stage this year was neuropediatrician Goran Kuzmac, a colleague from Polyclinic Sabol, who presented SENDD from the perspective of users to more than 700 gathered entrepreneurs. After three years of collaboration, these are the results we have achieved so far:

📢 Tested more than 25 different machine learning algorithms and models
🎙 Collected more than 1500 videos
📠 Had more than 400 users from 15 different countries
❗ Reduced the training time of neural networks from 21 to 4 days
💰 Contributed significantly to time savings for parents and professionals

"Every parent has a smartphone, and the cameras are so good that they can effectively capture movements. This greatly simplifies things for parents because they no longer have to come to the office but can do it just as well at home. The child at home can demonstrate the best spontaneous movements. Otherwise, doctors spend too much time preparing to record two or three minutes of fidgeting in the office," Goran explained vividly.

In the first healthness Resort in Europe, Terme Sveti Martin, last week was held the 52nd symposium of the Croatian Society for Pediatric Neurology with international participation, organized by the Pediatric Polyclinic Sabol and the Croatian Society for Pediatric Neurology of the Croatian Medical Association.

In addition to the latest news in neurology, our partners from Polyclinic Sabol also celebrated the 30th anniversary of its founding, being the first private pediatric institution in Croatia! Congratulations!

Furthermore, such gatherings cannot pass without SENDD. :)

U Termama sveti Martin prošli tjedan održao se 52. simpozij Hrvatskog društva za dječju neurologiju s međunarodnim sudjelovanjem u organizaciji Poliklinika Za Dječje Bolesti Dr. Sabol i Hrvatsko društvo za dječju neurologiju Hrvatskog liječničkog zbora.

Osim novosti u neruologiji, na simpoziju su naši partneri iz Poliklinike Sabol obilježili su i 30-obljetnicu osnivanja, kao prva privatna pedijatrijska ustanova u Hrvatskoj! Čestitamo!

DIGITAL (R)EVOLUTION: SENDD FROM THE DOCTOR'S PERSPECTIVE

Until now, we have mostly talked about SENDD from the perspective of technology or how, as a screening tool, it can affect the quality of life of newborns. Although less talked about, the context of doctors who use SENDD in their daily medical practice is certainly no less attractive.

Therefore, the Digital (r)evolution will be an excellent opportunity to get to know SENDD from an entirely different perspective. Dr. Kuzmac, a neuropediatrician from the Sabol Polyclinic who has been collaborating with us on developing this AI technology since the beginning, will answer these questions in his lecture on Tuesday, November 28, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
