Prošle nedelje imali smo čast da ugostimo prof. dr Leonarda Trasandea , međunarodno priznatog stručnjaka u oblasti dečjeg zdravlja i životne sredine. Kao spoljni saradnik našeg -EMPOWER projekta, koji finansira Fond za nauku kroz program Dokaz koncepta, profesor Trasande je prisustvao sastanku sa našim CH-EMPOWER timom i upoznao sa dosadašnjim aktivnostima na projektu. Zajedno smo definisali nove smernice za nastavak projekta.
Profesor je tokom boravka u Beogradu održao predavanje na Institutu za majku i dete Srbije o uticaju plastike na zdravlje dece. Predavanju su prisustvovali brojni pedijatri i endokrinolozi. Takođe, gostovao je u JutarnjIM vestima RTS1, gde je govorio o načinima smanjenja izloženosti hemikalijama iz plastike u svakodnevnom životu.

Last week, we had the privilidge of hosting Prof. Dr. Leonardo Trasande , an internationally renowned expert in children's health and environmental science. As an external collaborator on our -EMPOWER project, funded by the Science Fund through the Proof of Concept program, Professor Trasande attended a meeting with our CH-EMPOWER team and was introduced to the project's progress. Together, we outlined new directions for the continuation of the project.
During his visit to Belgrade, Professor Trasande delivered a lecture at the Mother and Child Institute of Serbia on the impact of plastics on children's health. The lecture was attended by numerous pediatricians and endocrinologists. He also appeared on the Morning News RTS1, where he discussed ways to reduce exposure to chemicals from plastics in everyday life.
