Exercises for back pain are extremely important if you suffer from some spine problem.

Spine injuries are very high on the scale of most common disorders nowadays, so prevention is the best answer.

Here you will see a short programe of exercises you can do during many spinal disorders (scoliosis, lordosis, kyphosis, cervicobrachial syndrome etc.) but also preventive in order to keep your spine in good condition.

Exercises for back 1 Lie down, place your arms near the body, palms down. Lift the cervical spine and shoulders until tension is felt. Keep your arms on the mat. Exercises for back 2 Lie down, place your arms near the body, palms down. Lift the cervical spine, shoulders, and palms until you feel ten...

Reiter's syndrome was named after a German military doctor Hans Reiter who was the first to observe and describe these changes- combination of three symptoms is characteristic for this condition – urethritis, conjunctivitis, and arthritis. Urethritis (inflammation of urethral tube) is usually the first sign, but is not a consequence of s*x disease, even though symptoms include burning, pain while urinating, and thick yellow discharge. Do you know what is PNF?
PNF, Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation is a healing philosophy based on the assumption that every man, even those with problems, have unused psychophysical possibilities.

MEANING:

Proprioceptive - using proprioceptor stimulation (sensory bodies in joints, tendons, ligaments, muscles...) and exteroceptors (sensory bodies communicating with the surroundings, used for seeing, hearing, palpating, feeling of temperature)

Neuromuscular - a better connection between muscles and nerves.

Facilitation - making easier the movement itself and its start.

Ankylosing spondylitis (Bechterew's disease) is inflammatory rheumatic disease which leads to connective tissue ossification. It encompasses sacroilliac joints, spine joints, costovertebral and costotransversal joints, root joints (shoulder and hip), temporomandibular, and sometimes small hand and foot joints.
Disease is more common in men between the age of 18 and 35, and includes exacerbation and remission phases.

CREPITATIONS - strange "clicks" in our body

What is it that happens when we hear cracking and scraping from the joints while moving? Are these sounds, generally called crepitations, dangerous, and when? This is one of the most common questions people ask their physical therapists or orthopedists.

The Baker cyst: a bursa, a recess or a true cyst?
A popliteal or Baker cyst is not technically a true cyst, but more of a distended knee joint recess that in most adult people communicates with the gastrocnemius- semimembranosus bursa and has accumulated fluid.
Cause?
In most cases a Baker cyst is secondary to various intra-articular knee pathologies, including friction between the tendons of the semimembranosus and gastrocnemius, degenerative and inflammatory arthritis, meniscal tears, rheumatological problems such as Gout, and other internal derangements.
Discomfort?
Although Baker cysts are most frequently asymptomatic, they may cause posterior knee pain, joint stiffness, and reduced range of motion.
(US)?
The cyst looks like an anechoic comma-shaped fluid collection, located in the posteromedial aspect of the knee, and should not have vascular flow, distinguishing it from a popliteal artery aneurysm. In some cases, the fluid may be complex in appearance and may possibly contain loose bodies.

Lasegue test was named after French doctor of medicine Charles Lasègue (1816 - 1883). The patient is on his back with extended knees and hips. The examiner lifts the patient's leg which must remain extended in the knee, so that only hip flexion occurs. A healthy person can lift their leg up to 90 degrees with no pain, only tension in the hamstrings. Test is positive if ...

Given the complexity of the relationship among structure, dysfunction and pain in tendinopathy, there is scope to develop a standardised method to assess tendon structural change on ultrasound (US), incorporating a number of parameters and allowing for greater consistency in the diagnosis of tendinopathy. Based on the results of the systematic review and meta-analysis written by Matthews et al. (2018), future criteria for diagnosing tendinopathy using US should include measures of all three parameters (tendon thickness, echogenicity and vascularity) when assessing tendon structural change
