A few shots of Budapest Castle... or the Royal Palace as it is also known. The original complex was built in 1265 but the rest of the Baroque palace was built between 1749 - 1769. Now it is the home of the Hungarian National Gallery and the Budapest History Museum.

This wreck was the Zenobia which sunk in 1980 after a electrical fault with the bilge pump. After trying to repair the problem the boat tried to sail to Cyprus as it was tilting to one side. Larnaca port authorities denied access and the boat sank with 200 million worth of cars and trucks that were being shipped to the Med and Middle East. It is a monster ship of 128 meters and 28 meters wide.. a few dives are needed for this bad boy... .

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!!! Here’s a few pics from the Elpida, a boat that was sunk off the coast of Larnaca a couple of weeks ago to create a new reef. The water clarity es fabulous and it was a super cool fun dive. Will do a little IGTV video for this when I get home 😃😃😃

1st stop today is Nea Pafos, the sprawling Pafos Archaelogical Site which was founded in 4th Century BC. It fell into its decline following an earthquake and later its demise after the Arab raids in the 7th Century BC. It is most famed today for its intricate and colorful mosaics based on Ancient Greek myths 🧝‍♂️

Just a few pics from our scuba diving trip today. First dive was the P29 - a minesweeper that was deliberately sunk in 2007. The ship was pretty impressive but we missed going inside because I had my very first panic attack under water 🤦‍♀️ going into the deep blue was something that I’ve not done much of. It threw me a little, plus I couldn’t get my buoyancy right with the amount of neoprene I had on and had too much weight to overcompensate.

The Tugboat Rozi was the second dive, another boat that was deliberately sunk. Easier to get to and a couple of nice cute tunnels to swim through too. Would have loved to have seen some original WW2 ships but they are quite deep and not in the best condition so we were told. Hopefully we can squeeze in a couple more dives in Cyprus 🤞

Directly in the center of Malta you will find Mostra. Famous for the third biggest dome in in the world. It was almost destroyed in WW2 but luckily the bomb pierced the top but it did not detonate. Good thing too because it is really quite stunning 🤩 @ Mosta, Malta

The War HQ tunnels are complex underground system that were constructed by the Knights of Malta between the 16th - 18th Century. They were later used by the British from 1940 as combined War Headquarters during the Battle of Malta 1940-43. It was also used to track Soviet Subs by NATO up to 1977. @ War H.Q. Tunnels - Valletta
