Yoga is more than just movement.
It’s a practice of awareness, presence, and respect not only for ourselves, but also for others in the studio.
Here are a few simple class manners that make a big difference:
1. Please don’t use your phone while your teacher is speaking.
This is your time to stay present, listen, and fully focus on the guidance. Using your phone can distract both yourself and others, and disrupt the flow of the class. Let’s respect the teacher and keep the space calm and mindful.
2. Please don’t talk when your yoga teacher is giving instructions.
Your teacher is guiding the flow, breath, and intention of the class. Talking can break focus not only for you, but also for others. Let’s stay attentive and respectful throughout the class.
3. Please don’t come late. If you’re late, enter quietly.
We understand that sometimes being late is unavoidable. But please enter the room silently, especially during meditation. Avoid making noise, unfolding your mat loudly, or walking around too much. A calm entrance helps maintain the peaceful energy of the class.
4. No eating during class.
Yoga involves movement, breath, and focus. Eating during class can disrupt your own practice and others around you. If you need energy, make sure to eat beforehand and stay hydrated.
By following these simple etiquettes, we can create a safe, calm, and respectful environment where everyone can truly enjoy their practice 🧡
Thank you for being mindful and helping us keep the Yoga Fit studio a peaceful space ✨
