Haha nothing could be further from the truth!
WEāVE BEEN LIED TO ABOUT THE SUN āļø
For years, weāve been told to fear the sun.
To stay out of it. To cover up. To slather ourselves in chemicals every time we step outside.
But what if the sun isnāt the enemyā¦
What if itās actually essential for your health?
We need sunlightā¦. (especially morning sunlight) for:
š Regulating our hormones
š Boosting mood + mental clarity
š Setting our circadian rhythm for better sleep
š Supporting our immune system
š Producing natural Vitamin D (which affects over 1,000 genes)
And guess what? A lack of natural light exposure is now being linked to:
šø Insomnia
šø Depression
šø Low energy
šø Hormonal imbalance
šø Burnout
Most people are exhausted and out of balance⦠and they donāt realise a piece of the puzzle is just outside their front door.
āļø My personal non-negotiable: I get outside every single morning. Myself and Zale head up to the rooftop to get sun on our faces, for at least 10-15 minutes, always saying āGood morning Sunā
Itās changed everything for me- my energy, my focus, my cycle, even my skin.
No supplement can replace what the sun naturally gives us (and no SPF can fully block the side effects of disconnection from nature).
I donāt mean to say go sit in the sun all day⦠and obviously during the heat of the day in the tropics donāt lie in it all arvo.
But I do believe more exposure is needed.
