Oh my God.. I was going through old posts and just realized I was at Samadi Sunday Market for 4 years from April 2015 - April 2019 and I thought it was only 2 years.
Through the market I met Danielle Drummond who was starting Alive Wholefoods Bali with Naomi McDougall.. and I offered my Jamu to be sold in their shop.. Well the rest is history..

Note : how it was sold like in the old days in these 1L bottles.. and now at Alive..

Still going strong into my 11th year.. Started on Sundays at Samadi Market then supplying Alive Wholefoods Bali and Kynd Community .. into its 7th or 8th years I've lost track of time but forever grateful!

We also supply Kynd Community for their own special creation of drinks using Ibu Dotty's Jamu or simply as Jamu shots.. While at home I'm so proud of my 8 yo granddaughter Lula who has a glass now and then..

Ibu Dotty's Jamu is one of the traditional Javanese jamu, consumed over the years by the Princesses of the Royal Courts of Surakarta and Yogyakarta. The renowned beauty of the Puteri Kraton is owed to jamu and lulur (traditional scrub).

Ibu Dotty's Jamu is made using my grandmother's and great auntie's traditional recipe from the Royal Court of Surakarta ( Solo ) where they were a part of the Ladies in Waiting to the Princesses.

Jamu Kunyit Asem is what I have been drinking since the age of 12. It's great to see this Jamu made in different ways sold all around the world...with the key ingredient Turmeric ! Though there are only 3 main ingredients in this Jamu, nowadays I produce it with only two, taking out the coconut sugar and adding it only by request.
