It is actually by expressing our gratitude to GAIA—the Mother Earth that we live by Her Grace, by renewing our commitment to manifest the vision of “One Earth, One Sky, One Humankind—that we live on one earth, under one sky, and we belong one humankind regardless our different educational, racial, economical, cultural, and national background. We need to cooperate to take a good care of the Mother Earth by living peacefully and harmoniously with each other in the genuine love of brotherhood so that we can clearly see with our eyes and heart “the Eternal Love of the Mother Earth”. We need to expand this genuine love of brotherhood towards a global harmony. This parade of “living together in harmony” will be joined by people from all ages, from kids to elderly people, from different racial, educational, economical and social status backgrounds; by government elements and non-government organizations, representatives from some foreign consulates, and delegations from various networking of Anand Ashram Foundation in various cities in Indonesia. This parade is a manifesto of the Eternal Love of the Mother Earth for all of Her Children. This activity is brought about not only as a means for people to meet, but actually for everybody to actually translate the consciousness awakening into the more profound values, which are our divine inheritance and that it is our divine right as human beings to manifest togetherness, awareness and realization that we all are but one big family of human beings who live on one earth, under one sky, regardless whatever birth identity that we are carrying with us. Of the parade’s participants, each contingent performs their own creativity that can be in the forms of drama, dance or other that carries the messages of peace, love and harmony and that echoes the spirit of “Living Together in Harmony” and gratefulness to “the Eternal Love of the Mother Earth”. The parade of “Living Together in Harmony” is at the same time an educational media to strengthen each other, to build a character education and to reinforce our commitment to “live together in harmony, manifested in living together peacefully, loving our fellow mortals and the environment and applying Gotong Royong in our everyday lives.
