Its that time of year again .......... Win a Share of €30,000* in Funding for your Club

Get your club off to a good start in 2026 and a chance of winning a share of €30,000 in club funding, up for grabs in the 7th Irish Life GAA Healthy Clubs Steps Challenge on MyLife. The 5-week challenge kicks off on January 7th and wraps up on February 11th. Clubs need to track a combined 4000km over the challenge period to be in with a chance of winning the funding.

Register your club on the Ireland’s Lights Up Registration Form. If your club took part in 2025 you will already be listed in the challenge. If not, download MyLife by Irish Life in the App Store or on Google Play, then join the Irish Life GAA Healthy Clubs Steps Challenge, selecting your province, followed by your club to join.

Every Step Counts - Get Ready for 2026!
🥳 Every Step Counts is back! It's time to reconnect with your club and community and feel the benefits of physical exercise. Get tracking to help your club reach a combined target of 4,000km.
💶 Any club that hits the 4,000km distance over 5 weeks will be entered into the draw to win a share. There'll be 3 donations of *€2,500 towards club funding per province up for grabs

What a fantastic day at the National Healthy Club Conference in Croke Park! 🏟️💚

Our team came away energised and inspired after hearing from incredible guest speakers who shared powerful insights on wellbeing, community engagement, and the future of the Healthy Clubs movement. Their passion reminded us how much can be achieved when we work together to support healthier, happier communities.

We also had the chance to meet with many brilliant organisations, each showcasing the important work they do—from mental health supports and physical activity programmes to social inclusion initiatives and youth services. There were so many great ideas and resources that we can bring back to our own community to help us grow, connect, and thrive.

A huge thank-you to everyone involved for such a motivating and informative day. We’re excited to put what we’ve learned into action! 💪🌱

We couldn’t be prouder — another award to celebrate! 🏆
Winners in the Kells Municipal District for our continued work in the Community Wellbeing category 🙌
Well done to Fiona , Eimear , Louise , Peter , Niamh and Ruth

We were also delighted to be their to be included in the award for Elderfest, a project we’re so proud to be part of in collaboration with Ait and other local groups 💚

Best of luck to our wonderful team of junior leaders — Savanagh, Áine, Ava, Niamh, Emilija, and Saoirse — who are receiving their Junior Cert results this morning! 🎉

These fantastic young ladies give their time every week to help out at our nursery training sessions and in the club tuck shop. Their enthusiasm and willingness to get involved at every event is truly inspiring. We’re so proud of you all — good luck! 🍀💫

This evening, our Healthy Club Team proudly accepted their first GAA Healthy Club Award at the Hamlet Hotel in Johnstown — and it wasn’t bronze... it was SILVER! 🥈🎉

In just 18 months, this dedicated team — Louise, Fiona, Niamh, Peter, Eimear, and Ruth — have transformed our club and community with their tireless efforts in health, wellness, and inclusion. 💪❤️
