“Lig do scíth.”

A phrase in Irish that can be translated as:“Allow your rest.”

I’ve always loved the softness and invitation within it.

Perhaps rest is not something we force, but something that becomes possiblewhen we stop struggling against this moment.

Came for the jiu-jitsu… turned into one of the best trips I’ve had in years.
Unreal week of training, movement, recovery, and just good people.
Learned a lot, laughed a lot, and properly switched off by the beach in between.
Some experience 👌 Can't wait for the next festival in October🥋🧘‍♀️
I belive it's going to be family friendly with a kids camp as well!! 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦

Whats your favourite phrase in Irish?? 'Tá sé caite sna fataí lofa' (it's gone with the rotten potatoes) has to be up there!

I met up with Laura from for some chats at the recent Solas Session in Avondale. If you haven't checked out her amazing yoga mats designs inspired by Irish nature - you need to!

Sometimes people find it difficult to express a sense of feeling relaxed in Irish — here are 5 phrases I use to express it:

Tá mé ar mo shuaimhneas
Tá mé ar mo shaimhín só
Tá mé ag ligean mo scíth
Tá mé ag glacadh sosa
Tá mé ag chillaxáil 😄
