🚧🧱 MEN AT WORK 🚧🧱

Work is underway at the Martello Tower as the solar‑powered defibrillator cabinet moves into its construction phase. Gavin and Tom were on site in the early hours over the weekend, installing the foundation so this lifesaving unit can soon serve our coastline. A massive thank you to Michael Hackett, Joe and Brian in Fingal County Council for their support. Another strong step forward for Balbriggan’s Chain of Survival.

BALBRIGGAN ECG247 LAUNCH 🚀

Balbriggan Leads Ireland’s First Community ECG247 Pilot

Sláneire Health Group has officially launched Ireland’s first community‑led ECG247 heart‑monitoring pilot and Balbriggan is the one blazing the trail.

Members of Balbriggan & District Athletics Club and Balrothery Velo Cycling Club stepped up to test the ECG247 device over two weeks, capturing continuous heart‑rhythm data during training and daily life. This is proactive health in its purest form.

Cardiovascular disease costs:
• €1.7 billion every year in Ireland
• €282 billion across Europe

ECG247, a medically certified, wireless heart‑rhythm sensor monitors your heart 24/7 for up to seven days and alerts you if something needs attention.

“ECG247 analyzes the heart rhythm continuously and alerts if heart rhythm disturbances occur.”

By self‑monitoring, participants can inform their GP and seek specialist cardiology advice if needed. This is how communities prevent problems before they escalate.

Core Goal of Pilot
Scale ECG247 across Balbriggan and become Ireland’s national leader in community‑driven cardiovascular prevention.

This pilot is just the beginning and Balbriggan is already showing the rest of the country what’s possible.
