Researchers are increasingly investigating the role of fibrinaloid microclots in Long COVID and chronic inflammatory conditions.
A recent study — *“Automated, Microscopic Measurement of Fibrinaloid Microclots and Their Degradation by Nattokinase”* — found that recombinant nattokinase was able to degrade fibrinaloid microclots in vitro using advanced microscopic analysis.
Importantly, this was a laboratory study — not proof of clinical treatment outcomes in humans. But it adds to the growing scientific interest in circulation, fibrinolysis, inflammation, and recovery biology.
Nattokinase is a proteolytic enzyme derived from natto (fermented soybeans) and is known for its fibrinolytic activity, which is why researchers continue to explore its biological potential.
At Fíana Health, we believe better recovery starts with better understanding of the science.
