In 2021, there were 8,293 deaths from CVD in Ireland. Alarmingly, 80% of premature cardiovascular disease is preventable through lifestyle and early intervention.

Move daily. Even walking 30 minutes can help lower blood pressure and support vascular health.

Eat heart-friendly foods. More vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and less processed and high-salt foods.

Manage stress. Chronic stress is a hidden contributor to heart risk.

Avoid smoking & limit alcohol. These are major drivers of hypertension and vascular damage.

Check in with your doctor. Monitoring blood pressure, cholesterol, and sugar levels is essential.

Stress can show up in the body in many ways.

Such as
-brain fog
-digestive problems
-anxiety
-tension.

Most of us are cruising along in this crazy life and don't even realise the damage stress is having on our bodies.

When stressed our nervous system is constantly in a state of fight or flight mode which can be so harmful if we don't slow down

Finishing off the day in my favourite way.

Californian White Sage, and Sage in general is widely used by therapists for its cleansing, purifying, and aromatic properties.

I use this at the end of my working day

It is said that it:

*Clears stagnant or negative energy

*Promotes peace and clarity

*May have antibacterial properties (according to some studies)

For me it closes the day and I love the strong herbal scent xx
