I know I revisit the corner-stones of yoga by times, well very often, but it’s never in vein….The breath is the quiet guide of every yoga practice.
Before the stretch.
Before the strength.
Before the balance.
In our practice we always try to move with the breath, not around it. Each inhalation creates space…length is created in the spine, expansion through the ribs, openness through the heart. Each exhalation invites release, softening of tension, grounding the body, clearing the mind. The breath is more than oxygen, it’s the life force that offers present awareness. If we rush through poses without noticing our breathe the practice becomes soley physical exercise. But when we anchor our movement to steady, intentional breathing, something shifts…..the nervous system calms, the mind steadies. The body feels supported rather than forced. And the beauty of the practice is…..your breath is always available — on the mat and off. We’re in the Goods Store on Friday morning to find the gift of the breath 🙏🏻 10am and €10 pay as you go….everyone welcome! Namaste 🕉️💜🧘♀️
