There are times in life when we are unsure about which road to take.
There are times in life when we feel weighed down by the stress, pressure and expectations we put on ourselves and others put on us,
There are times in life when we feel so exhausted we don’t know which way is up……..

When we are at crossroads,
Stop,
Pay attention,
Slow down and be patient,
Listen to your intuition.

When we are weighed down,
Remember, the butterfly starts off as a caterpillar and over time grows wings to fly.

And when we are tired and exhausted remember just stop and take a rest - the stones are calling us to sit with them and just Be.
They are wise creatures!

There is something magical and enchanting about this place.
Time stands still and you can hear every living wild creature going about their day, without disturbance.

Imagine for a moment,
If we all slowed down a little bit,
Step back from the “crazy” of the modern world that we live in,
Imagine what this would feel like.

Today I am grateful to be able to feel the warmth of the sun on my face,
Bubble bees buzzing around,
Wild heather and big cotton dance in the breeze, the big sky and so much more.

This places helps you remember that we all hold peace and tranquility in our hearts.

I am hosting the Regional Gathering this year for the Irish Forest School Association here in Birr Co Offaly.

This event is open to members and non members alike and I am delighted that we will be holding this event in our new venue in our new yurt.

We will gather in the walled garden and the yurt and explore what the coming of Samhain means to us.

We will have lovely creative activities,
Conversation around the fire 🔥
Grounding ourselves in nature for the day with a view to taking away something meaningful for each participant.
