Do you want to feel like you’ve just had a full body massage and a deep sleep? ⁣

We breath, we move, we find stillness, we journal and most importantly we have tea and treats after. The energy in the room is indescribable. Everyone on their own journey but in the company of others. ⁣

2 Hour Self Care Yoga Practice

My desire is to create a safe, cosy space for you to connect with your mind, body, and soul. To nourish all parts of your self.

A lot of people come to yoga for a good stretch and that’s great, some think they can’t go because they are not flexible or wouldn’t be able for it. Don’t worry Yoga is so much more than the movement.

This workshop is suitable for everyone. I have one student that just loves the sleep at the end as it’s a nap like no other. Another student, first time to practice yoga and journaling at the workshops and now practices daily. You wont know how much you’ll love something until you try it. 🥰

We breath, we move, we find stillness, we journal and most importantly we have tea and treats after. The energy in the room is indescribable. Everyone on their own journey but in the company of others.

2 hours for you.

This Autumn I’m going to lean into my yoga practice more. Find some slow paced guided practices, longer meditations and possibly a retreat. I’m craving stillness at the moment, and after a busy summer socializing and very little practice I’m excited to get back to being a student again. ⁣

Yoga and Meditation are simple practices but not easy. ⁣
In my opinion, You don’t always enjoy the process you endure it and in time enjoy the results, the lessons. Then you grow to love the process. ⁣

Winter can be a challenging time for our mental health. ⁣

I know I need routine and good habits to fuel my body and mind throughout these darker months. ⁣

After an amazing busy summer socializing and going with the flow, I’m excited to slow down and go back to basics finding some structure.⁣

The past few winters I’ve enjoyed early morning grounding no matter what the weather and last year sea swimming. ⁣

I found doing something challenging first thing helped set me to for the day mentally. ⁣

Especially if I was having a tough time and didn’t manage to do anything else “productive” that day, I knew I got out of bed and kept that promise to myself and that was an achievement in itself.⁣

There is no one size fits all approach here. Find what works for you. In my experience it’s trial and error.⁣

Last week was all about letting go! ⁣
Remember sometimes you need to let go of the old to make room for the new.⁣

Personally this past week I’ve been learning AGAIN, how important it is to let go of the untrue stories you have told yourself.⁣

Your thoughts are not always facts.⁣

Instead of holding on dearly to those limiting self beliefs (untrue stories you tell yourself)⁣
Try telling yourself the big audacious stories! ⁣
Really and truly you are the only person standing in your way! ⁣
Many people have achieved the “impossible” ⁣

Our past experiences and conditioning holds us back but we can change our realities! ⁣

*Side note, failing is proof your trying! ⁣

Go again! ⁣

“Doing is never enough if you neglect Being.”― Eckhart Tolle⁣

Getting back into some form of routine is important for me even when I’m still in a phase of uncertainty. ⁣

Short mindful moments throughout the day I find easy, these are habits I’ve built and come quiet natural. For Example I take a few deep breaths when in traffic, or in the shower. ⁣

What I find most beneficial and what I’m craving now is a much longer Meditations, preferably in the morning and before going on social media. ⁣

Giving yourself the time to enjoy “being” before a day of “doing” is so beneficial. ⁣

I know this helps me hear my Hearts desires especially when I get too caught up in my head when anxiety takes over. ⁣

Anyway, Monday Message is enjoy being. Get lost in the simple things. If you love a routine and a schedule just make sure to allocate a time slow for “being”. ⁣

The most important relationship you’ll ever have is with yourself. ⁣

Are you nurturing that relationship?⁣

Yoga means union. ⁣
Connecting Mind, body and soul. ⁣

For me when I’m consistent with my practice my relationship with self is better, that energy spills over to those around me therefore making life’s experience wholesome.⁣

Spending time getting to know yourself,⁣
Leaning into the discomfort and observing your thoughts is not only challenging but life changing. ⁣

Come back to yourself,⁣
Reconnect and restart as many times as you need to.⁣

Life is a journey full of lessons. Know that you will keep attracting/repeating the same cycles until the lesson is learned. ⁣

F**K it’s not easy! ⁣

Some thoughts/rambles, I hope it makes sense. ⁣

Some of us are going around living our life’s unconsciously. We live by social norms and never even question them.⁣

If you’re happy doing this, great you do you. If you have stopped to question things, then what is holding you back from living the life you want? ⁣
Usually it’s the need for approval from those around us. I know this still catches me out. ⁣
It’s like wanting to live one way which won’t give you validation or approval but which you yourself are proud of and feels right in your gut. ⁣

Everyone has different sets of values weather they are ones we have unconsciously adopted by our family/community or ones we have consciously chosen ourselves. ⁣

Limiting beliefs are crippling, but can be changed when challenged. These beliefs may have once kept you safe so don’t be too hard on yourself when they creep in. ⁣

I feel I get so far on my journey to creating the life I want and them BOOM, I get in my own way. I am fully aware of this and all I can do is remind myself…………⁣

Creating the life you want may be simple but it’s not easy. ⁣
