✨WHAT ON EARTH DOES BALANCING BLOOD SUGARS MEAN?✨
And what does it have to do with me?
I hear you. It's typical NT speak really. But it does matter!
What we eat, or don't eat, can have a huge impact on our energy levels. If you feel tired after you eat, or are reaching out for something to keep you going at 4pm cos you can't go on (and there's still so much to do!) then you need to look at what's on your plate.
Different foods have different knock-on affects on our energy.
Some will give us the boost we need, but then we need a top-up an hour later
Others will leave us feeling shaky, drained and irritable
Whereas on the other hand, there are foods that will give energy without the nasty side-effects.
Foods that will keep you clear headed, able to deal with the next thing that throws a spanner in the works.
Getting that balance right isn't hard, nor does it involve lots of cooking, food prep or special diet.
Starting small, with small tweaks to your meals will have your blood sugars balanced so you can cope with what life throws at you.
