JKR Homeopathy Your path to better health. https://linktr.ee/jkrhomeopathy Privately, I am a mum of 3 ! Homeopathy became my passion as soon as my third child was born.

I graduated from the Irish School of Homeopathy in Dublin and I am a member of the Irish Society of Homeopaths. It helped my family to strengthen our immune system and balance our health. I thought then, that if I could achieve this in such a healthy, easy way- why can I not share this knowledge with everyone else? Since then I have been promoting homeopathy and helping people of any age to be happier mentally and physically within themselves.

From a young age, many women are taught to get on with things. To push through tiredness, mood changes, painful or heavy periods and to accept them as normal.

Hormonal symptoms are often brushed aside with phrases like this is just part of being a woman.

But it is not that simple. When hormones are out of balance, the body speaks through emotions, energy levels, sleep and the menstrual cycle. These signs are important. They are not weaknesses, and they are not something to ignore.

You deserve to be listened to. Support is here.

From an early age, I was called soft hearted. I was moved by other people’s emotions, by music, and by care, and I could never walk past someone who needed help.

Sometimes people suggested I should stay out of it, or wondered who would care if the same happened to me. Others asked why I would do it at all, or if anyone even said thank you. My answer has always been simple. Maybe one day, in whatever way life works, someone will count that kindness back to me.

Over time, there were gentle and not so gentle attempts to change this part of me. To toughen up, to look away, to feel less. But I will not. This softness has always been part of who I am, and I cherish this side of me.

This Valentines Day, my wish is simple. Be kind to yourself and to others. A small act of kindness may not change the whole world, but it can change someone’s day, and that matters.

Share love all year long. With your partner, your children, your pets, or a stranger.

With big hugs,
Always softy,
Joanna

There are often many emotions hidden behind chronic illness.

There may be grief after losing someone close.
There may also be grief for the life that changed because of illness.
Plans, energy, ease, a sense of freedom.

Sometimes there was a shock or a traumatic experience, and the body has never felt the same since.
Sometimes it was humiliation at school, feeling small or exposed.
Sometimes it was fear in childhood that still returns in adulthood, even when life looks settled on the outside.

The body remembers.
Even when the mind tries to move on.

Living with a chronic condition can be exhausting.
Not only physically, but emotionally too.

Homeopathy does not promise quick fixes.
Small shifts matter.
Better sleep.
A little more energy.
Feeling closer to yourself again.

Healing is not about rushing.
It is about listening and responding with care.

This poll shows how common this question really is.
In homeopathy, remedies are prepared in a very precise and delicate way. For that reason, we usually suggest tipping the remedy into the cap rather than touching it with fingers. It helps keep the remedy clean, especially away from moisture or strong smells.

If a remedy is touched by accident, there is no need to worry. It is guidance, not a strict rule.

In the reel I explain why this advice exists and how to use remedies with ease in everyday life.

Sepia often comes to mind for people who feel emotionally and physically depleted.
Not because they do not care, but because they have cared for a long time, without enough support.

Emotionally, there can be withdrawal, irritability, or a sense of indifference where warmth once was.
A wish to be left alone.
Feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities, especially caring roles.

Physically, Sepia may be considered when there is deep tiredness that rest does not fully relieve.
A feeling of heaviness or dragging, particularly in the pelvic area.
Menstrual concerns such as irregular cycles, painful periods, or feeling worse before menstruation.
Digestive sluggishness, bloating, or constipation.
Cold hands and feet, yet often feeling better with warmth and movement.
Many notice improvement with exercise and feel worse when standing still for long periods.

Sepia is not about weakness.
It reflects endurance and long held responsibility.
A picture of someone who has given a lot, and needs balance restored.

Are you Sepia? 🫶
Do you need support?

"Homeopathy doesn’t work".
Meanwhile, clients this week…

Sleeplessness has eased and digestion improved.
Social anxiety softened enough to sign up for two face-to-face courses and attend all alone with a class full of strangers.
Menstrual cycle regular again for the last three months.
A child walked into school for the first time without tears or looking back for mummy.

These changes did not happen overnight. They came from careful listening, individual remedies and steady support.

Those changes matter🩷

Sleep, dreams, fears, food, stress, childhood, losses.
Not because something is wrong with you.
And not because I am searching for problems.

This is not a checklist.
It is not about ticking boxes.

I ask because everything is connected.
Because your body, emotions, experiences, and history all speak together.
And when we listen to the whole story, the remedy can meet you more accurately.

This is why it is so important to see the whole story.

Many people apologise for how much they talk in a consultation.
For the emotions.
For the details.

Here, nothing is too much.
Your story is important.

I love to listen.
This is your time and your safe space.

Appointments available.

Homeopathic healing often starts much earlier than the first remedy.
It begins in the moment a thought appears.
A sense that something is out of balance.
A small hope that support is possible.

What has drawn you to book in?
What is the feeling behind it?

Healing then continues when we meet.
There is time to talk, to be listened to, and to be understood.
No rushing.
Just space, presence, and support.

And then come the remedies, chosen for the individual person, not the symptom label.

I love giving remedies names that feel comforting and human.
Instead of Coffea for sleeplessness, or a simple sleeplessness pill, I might call it Sweet Dream Mix.
Instead of Silicea for constipation, or a constipation remedy, I might call it Happy Belly Remedy.
Instead of an anxiety mix, I might call it Reassurance Mix or Courage Mix.

Can you feel the difference?
For me, the name itself carries warmth and reassurance.

Healing is not only about what we take.
It is also about how we feel along the way.

I think of Chamomile when irritability takes over.
When small things feel unbearable.
When pain feels intense and patience is gone.

It is often linked with:
oversensitivity to pain
strong reactions to discomfort
restlessness and frustration
being hard to please no matter what is offered

Chamomile is great for babies and children, especially during teething,
when crying is intense and nothing seems to soothe.
But adults can need Chamomile too, particularly when pain or stress makes them short tempered, emotional, or overwhelmed.

The key note is not just pain, but how it is experienced.
Everything feels too much.
Tolerance is low.
Relief feels urgent.

Homeopathy listens to this inner state.
When the picture fits, the remedy can bring surprising calm and ease.
