Our annual Sports Ability Day takes place in Thurles on Friday 16th May.

We hope to showcase a range of inclusive sporting activities to the people of Tipperary, as well as highlight some of the fantastic work that is already taking place across the county.

If you know someone who dedicates their time to volunteering, and you would like to recognise their efforts, the Volunteer Ireland Awards are now open:

We all know people who give more than their fair share of their personal time for the benefit of others. Those who organise events, keep our recreational spaces clean, train our children and much more. Now is your time to have them recognised. All you need to do is complete an online form to nominate them for a national award hosted by Volunteer Ireland. These people give hours of their time weekly. You only need to give less than an hour of yours to have them recognised. Every person nominated will receive a personalised Thank You card from Volunteer Ireland the national development agency for volunteering. The link to the nomination form is in the first comment.
