This Lady Ni Dhomhnaill Cate from Luxury Bespoke Decor just blew us all away on Friday night and she deserves so much recognition for what she did and thanks!! ☺️

Through talking to Yvonne, Wade and Rocco’s family over the last few weeks, Catherine got what they were saying and knew exactly what they needed, without them even knowing it themselves and she made sure that Rocco’s personality was felt and was woven into every little detail of Rocco’s 18th Charity Ball and her attention to detail just blew us all away 🥰

Catherine not only are you amazing at your job, your infectious personality and smile puts everyone you come in contact with at ease from the minute you meet them and you listen and care.

We cannot thank you enough for what you did and how through your decor captured Rocco’s essence and brought his presence into the room making sure that even in his absence he was felt in every corner 💙

As someone said on the night, “that girl, is just Pure of Heart” and Catherine we wish you every success in your future, you really are fabulous ….

We cannot believe the day has finally arrived, a conversation back in Jan/Feb with Rocco’s mammy Yvonne Hegarty on how she just couldn’t believe that her beautiful boy would have been celebrating his 18th Birthday in August and how Rocco would have just loved his 18th Birthday and all the celebrations around it, and how he would have been celebrating it for the whole month of August knowing him 😊

Yvonne and Wade’s hearts were and still are so very sore, at the thought of this week approaching and again of the realisation that Rocco was not going to be here with them to celebrate it in the way he would have loved … with his family and friends 💔

And somewhere along the line the conversation turned to, how lovely would it be if we could try maybe mark his 18th Birthday and to honour Rocco’s life by remembering him on his 18th Birthday but to also give back, even a small bit to the Amazing Charity’s who have helped Rocco and the Mc Ginley family through Rocco’s illness and their hardest days.

We ourselves thought, maybe a 5k walk would be a great way to do that … 🙈😆 but Yvonne with a smile and knowing her boy best said, let’s do something really special that Rocco would have been so happy with, and from that conversation the Rocco’s 18th Birthday Charity Ball was set in motion.

We wholeheartedly thank each and every person or business who has helped us in any way possible over the last 6 months to make this night happen and to make it a reality, and we appreciate all the support and kindness we have received. 🥰

So today as we get the glad rags ready and we put our best foots forward, (hoping we haven’t forgotten anything) …. we remember a Beautiful Young Man who was just too special for this life and we will toast and celebrate him in the way he would have loved surrounded by his biggest supporters and with a smile on our faces, and in style!

We hope we do you proud Rocco 💙
