Do you have a scar which is tight?

Do you know how common this is, especially for those raised hypertrophic and keloid type scars?

Do you know why it is tight?
Well there can be several reasons:

You maybe dehydrated, so start bumping up on those clear fluids!

Your scar maybe laying down more collagen and this is “pulling” on the surrounding tissues /skin around the scar.

Your scar maybe loosing moisture - silicone can help trap that unwanted moisture loss in scars and help soften tight, raised scars.

What else can you do?.... start using a good scar cream or oil to hydrate the scar while doing scar massage. keep the tissues flexible, so they dont feel so tight!
