Why Choose Massage? Quite simply, massage is one of the oldest forms of healing. It is a drug-free and non-invasive way of helping to relieve pain, stress and tension. Massage therapy can also relieve conditions such as insomnia, arthritis, headaches, digestive problems, depression and much more. Not only does massage feel good, help you to relax, improve your range of motion and repair your muscles, it can also enhance your overall health and well-being. The action of massaging the skin improves skin and muscle tone and promotes changes in the body including the release of Endorphins...the body's natural pain killers. Massage will assist the flow of the lymph fluid which is vital in fighting infection and developing immunity. It will also improve blood circulation bringing fresh nutrients and oxygen to your fatigued muscles. Each and every massage is tailored to your needs using techniques ranging from deep sports massage to gentle aromatherapy & lymphatic drainage massage. Both base and essential oils are blended to suit you on the day.

*Myoskeletal therapy:

Duration ~ 60 mins ~ €90

Sports massage and orthopaedic manual therapy emphasizes prevention and healing of injuries to the muscles and tendons and joints. The overall effect is relaxing muscles in spasm, increasing your range of movement, speeding up the healing process & decreasing the recovery time after training sessions. When the muscle tissue is healthy, it will convert fuel into energy more efficiently, hence improving your performance. However, you don't have to be an athlete to benefit from sports massage. It is also great for people with injuries, chronic pain or restricted range of motion.

*Back massage: Duration ~ 30 mins ~ €65

This massage will be tailored to your requirements. Whether it's a deep tissue massage for chronically tight or painful muscles, repetitive strain, postural problems, or if you are recovering from injury; or a more relaxing, soothing back massage to help stiff necks and sore shoulders and generally eliminate the stresses and strains of a busy lifestyle, or sitting at a desk all day.

*Aromatherapy Full Body Massage:

Duration ~ 60 mins ~ €90

Aromatherapy is the practice of using the essential natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical well-being. Essential Oils possess many distinctive therapeutic properties, which are then used to improve health and prevent disease. How does Aromatherapy work? These natural plant oils are applied in a variety of ways, massage being the most prominent method. These oils are absorbed through the skin and in to the bloodstream and have gentle but effective physiological effects. Aromatherapy is an excellent treatment for stress-related problems and a variety of chronic conditions including acne, anxiety, arthritis, asthma, constipation, psoriasis, sleep disorders, general stress and many more. This is a luxurious full body treatment using high quality oils suited to you and your skin type. Depending on how you feel on the day this massage can be tailored to suit your needs - be it an invigorating massage to relieve muscle tension or a soothing massage to help you relax and de-stress.

*Reflexology: Duration ~ 60 mins ~ €85

Reflexology is the Holistic practice of treating points and areas in the feet and hands that relate to corresponding glands, organs and systems of the body. By using specific pressure and massage techniques to stimulate these reflex points, we can help the body to regain a balanced state by increasing blood flow to specific areas and dispersing energy blockages which often manifest themselves as crystalline deposits in the feet and hands. It can bring relief from a wide range of acute and chronic conditions like asthma, ear and throat infections, sinusitis and digestive problems and many more.

*Indian Head Massage:

Duration ~ 45 mins ~ €80

This is a very effective seated therapy incorporating massage of the arms, upper back, neck, scalp & face using high quality aromatherapy oils suited to your skin & hair type. (Treatment can be conducted without oil if you prefer). Indian Head Massage is the ideal treatment for anyone who is suffering from aching shoulders, a tight neck, tension headaches, eye strain, insomnia, or poor concentration. It promotes a feeling of deep relaxation.

*Pregnancy Massage:

Duration ~ 60 mins ~ €90

One of the major benefits is how pregnancy massage promotes relaxation. Relaxation is key to the production of oxytocin. This hormone when abundant, helps to soften the cervix in preparation for labour and keeps labour moving along. Some of the additional benefits include: Reduction of stress, relief from muscle cramps, spasms, and myofascial pain, especially in the lower back, neck, hips, and legs. It also increases blood and lymph circulation, which can reduce swelling.

*Hopi Ear Candling: Duration ~ 40 mins ~ €80

Hopi ear candling originates from medical ceremonies performed by a Native American Indian tribe known as the Hopis-"peace people". The candle is actually a cotton tube, impregnated with beeswax, honey and therapeutic oils Hopi ear candles act like a chimney, drawing away the vapour and any impurities from within the ear. This in turn regulates the pressure system within the ear and the head, making the candle treatment suitable for many conditions including ear, nose and throat problems. However, the candles are used to treat many ailments, like migraine, headaches, catarrh, sore throats, sinusitis, tonsillitis and excessive ear wax. The treatment is completed with a facial massage.
