☀️Hot Weather Alert for Pet Owners ☀️
We are urging all pet owners to keep pets cool and safe as temps rise
Walking dogs in the heat can be fatal — especially for flat-faced breeds, seniors, and overweight pets.
🛑 Avoid walks on very hot days
🌳 Keep pets indoors or in the shade
💧 Always have fresh water
🐾 Test the pavement: too hot for your hand = too hot for their paws
🚗 Never leave pets in the car
Signs of heatstroke: heavy panting, drooling, collapse, red/blue gums. Act fast — cool them down & call your vet.
