🏋🏼Knee Pain🏋🏼
A common complaint in a range of age groups ranging from athletes to general population 👧🏽🕺👵🏻
Injuries and pain at the knee can be caused by multiple different mechanisms and structures. From growth pains in younger patients, overload in athletic populations and joint issues within the older populations.
The good news is even thought there are loads of structures around the knee that can be injured, all of these structures also keep the joint strong and when strengthened in the correct way can decrease load through the joint and therefor decrease your pain.
This post sheds some insight on only a few of the many mechanisms that could be at play with your knee pain. There are also some general exercises that you can try fit into your daily routine to begin the strengthening the lower limb.
