Today we pause to celebrate Mother’s Day — a day to appreciate the love, care, and quiet strength that mothers bring to our lives every single day.

As we take time to thank our own mothers and the incredible women who have shaped us, we would also like to give special recognition to the mothers within the Order of Malta family. Many of them are spending part of their Mother’s Day doing what they do best — volunteering their time and caring for others.

Your dedication, compassion, and willingness to serve never go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for everything you do both within the Order and at home.

Today we also take a moment to remember the mothers who are no longer with us. Their love, guidance, and memories remain with us always, and they continue to shape the people we are today.

From everyone in the Order of Malta Rathdrum Unit, we wish all mothers a very happy and peaceful Mother’s Day. Thank you for everything you do.

Today we pause to celebrate the incredible women who shape our lives, our communities, and our organisation.

In the Order Of Malta Ireland - Ambulance Corps - Rathdrum unit , we are proud to stand alongside so many amazing women who give their time, their compassion, and their strength to helping others.

Today is about recognising the mammys who support us, the aunts who guide us, the grannys who inspire us, the daughters and granddaughters who carry the future, and the nieces who remind us why community matters. These women are the heart of our families and the backbone of so many communities.

Within our own unit, the women who volunteer with us bring kindness, professionalism, dedication and care to everything they do. They are carers, leaders, mentors, teammates and friends, and the Order of Malta would not be what it is without them.

Today, and every day, we say thank you to all the women who volunteer, support and inspire us.

From all of us in the Order of Malta Rathdrum Unit, Happy International Women’s Day.
