-Private Therapeutic wellness programme for young people- Wilton, Cork-

This new healthy initiative is aimed to help young people to find balance, help with emotional intelligence and growth – enable better communications, self -esteem and confidence.

This space can help young people with relationships with themselves, relationships with family, and friendships. Discovering how feelings, thoughts and emotions are a really positive attribute in day-to-day living.

This professional therapeutic service specializes in supporting children and teenagers. Art psychotherapy is a highly specialized form of therapy, with elements of fun, and play that adds a powerful conduit and medium for young people to work through thoughts, emotions and feelings.

There is absolutely no need to be good at art or drawing.

These sessions are a mixture of creative and talk therapy facilitated by Senior art psychotherapist who holds a master's degree and is a first-class honours recipient from the MTU. (2019) A professional registered art therapist is one who has trained to a master's degree level (level 9) that integrates the theory and practice of psychology, psychotherapy, and psychiatry as a therapeutic intervention through the lens of creativity.

Patrick Byrne art psychotherapist is also a neurodiversity affirming practitioner which provides therapeutic support for young people on the autistic spectrum. Patrick is also registered for over 30 years on the neurodevelopmental spectrum which in turn can be extremely empowering for young clients in working with someone who really understands how to embrace, navigate and support oneself.

All these sessions are based on working face- to- face individually with young people. Patrick's private practice is available at weekends both Saturdays and Sundays and is located in Wilton, Cork

As an ex-student from both UCC and MTU, I am more than aware how the modern world can bring up all types of concerns and challenges in the mindset, in addition to the stresses and strains of academic life with forthcoming exams, end of year assignments.

My private therapeutic practice specialises utilising a mixture of creative processes and talk therapy to help, understand, deconstruct feelings, thoughts, triggers, and helps to build coping skills, self- esteem, self -reliance and confidence.

NB , - Students do not need to be in distress to come to therapy as, - just to check in with oneself in terms of transitions and wellness can be very enriching in a person’s life

This professional therapeutic service specializes in supporting students. Art therapy is a highly specialized form of therapy that adds a powerful conduit and medium for people to work through thoughts, emotions and feelings.

There is absolutely no need to be good at art in any way.

The sessions are a mixture of creative and talk therapy facilitated by Senior art therapist who holds a master's degree and is a first-class honours recipient from the MTU. A professional registered art therapist is one who has trained to a master's degree level (level 9) that integrates the theory
NB . I am also a Neurodiversity affirming practitioner which provides therapeutic support for people of all ages on the autistic spectrum. I am also registered on the neurodevelopmental spectrum which in turn can be extremely empowering for clients in working with somebody who really understands the journey .
