𝗔 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗱-𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁

On Monday 15th September, we welcomed the first patients to our brand-new Bon Secours Hospital in Ballysimon, Limerick, a €213 million investment designed to transform healthcare across the Mid-West.

The phased opening begins with our new Cardiac Cath Lab, the first of its kind in a private hospital in the region. More services will move from Barringtons over the coming weeks and, in the months ahead, patients will gain access to an even wider range of specialties including surgery, cardiology, neurology, respiratory medicine, dermatology, ophthalmology, and advanced diagnostics.

On the same campus, our new Clinical Services Hub will further strengthen patient care with cardiology, vascular and neurology diagnostics, as well as an advanced outpatient imaging centre in partnership with Alliance Medical. This includes the first PET-CT scanner in the Mid-West, due to become operational in the coming months.

This hospital has been built for patients, families and communities across the region.
