Minicooks We are very passionate about the topic of children's diet and health and feel all children should be given the necessary skills and information on how to cook.

Minicooks is a Cork based company providing cookery parties for boys and girls from the ages of 5 years old upwards.We also do family cookery lesssons, midnight feast parties for sleep-overs, summer camps and much more. We offer a large and exciting (and mostly healthy!) variety of children's cookery parties and cookery classes with age appropriate menus and activities within Cork City and County. Cookery Parties:
Our packages can be tailored to suit your individual needs and suit anyone from the age of 5 years upwards. We can provide everything needed for your child's party - from the invitations, ingredients, birthday cake, goodie bags and of course aprons and chefs hats to protect the children while they cook and have fun! Cookery Classes:
Our cookery classes take place during school holidays and Saturdays.

As science week 2016 comes to an end, we conducted an experiment with eggs in glasses of water that Clara learned at school. One egg floated and one didn't with the addition of salt to the water...guess which glass contained the salt water? The kids were fascinated!

One of the nicest treats I've made in a long while...Salted Caramel Quinoa Pop Bars. The recipe 'popped' up on my Facebook feed last week. The recipe was made on RTE's Today Show last week. You pop the uncooked quinoa like popcorn and mix it in with a date,maple syrup and peanut butter paste/caramel. 😋

Sarah enjoying the post Irish dancing healthy muffins we made for the first time today. We simply blended 3 eggs,2 bananas, 40g coconut flour with 1tsp baking powder and a dash of vanilla extract and spooned the mix into 12 muffin cases and topped with a few chocolate chips before baking for 15 minutes.Now if I could only get her to take off her new boots that she insists on wearing all day ☺
