I'm thrilled to share the return of in-studio classes! It has been over three years since we last practiced together in the same room. I'm immensely grateful for the many of you who stayed connected during this time, and it was wonderful to meet in person outside of the studio during this time.

Let me share more insight into what is coming up.😊 A 4-week Hatha Flow course is set to commence on Monday, the 2nd of October, at 6 pm. These sessions will be held at our familiar location, the Douglas Yoga Rooms in the East Douglas Village.

Wondering who this course is designed for and what skill level it caters to? These classes will blend Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, incorporating functional movement exercises to create a practice that truly aligns with the demands of modern living.

Our Monday sessions will be more intensive compared to our online practice, featuring hands-on adjustments. During these sessions, I'll be present around the room, assisting you with personalized alignment, modifications, and variations.

How amazing is this!
Guys from the CDAWG are doing fantastic work in helping animals in need around Cork. You can only imagine how many dogs are being surrendered after the Pandemic puppy craze. They are looking for Foster homes, especially for bigger dogs. If you or someone you know are in position to help, please contact them directly. This weekend I had a pleasure of meeting Clodagh (left) and Debby (right). They joined the weekend retreat in Burren Yoga Holidays and Retreats to get away from daily tasks AND celebrate Clodagh's birthday in tranquil settings. 🦋 🥰 Clodagh has began her daily meditation practice during the pandemic and hasn't stop since! What an inspiration 👏
I absolutely admire her dedication, no matter what's going on she shows up every single day (it's been over 200 days now! Yup!).

Having a good morning routine can (and probably will) transform your life. It's that sense of structure and stability that will allow you to experience more freedom.

Aim for 10-15 minutes and when you have extra time treat yourself to a longer practice. No matter what, do it every day. Set yourself a start date and write it down. Do it religiously for 30 days and see how your mindset and body transform. 😌

I am delighted to share that this year’s retreat in beautiful Burren is going ahead! The Burren Yoga Holidays and Retreats has been completely renovated over the past year with added extension, en-suite bedrooms, spacious and sunny yoga room as well as high tech air filtration systems to ensure safe environment.

There will be dedicated massage therapy rooms and a lovely new spacious dining area which will allow guests to have plenty of space which is essential for social distancing.
Our new yoga room is on the first floor with ceiling to floor windows, and amazing views over the Burren hills.

My aim is to offer classes that help students nurture their body, mind and spirit.

GENTLE HATHA YOGA - coming soon

This class is appropriate for adults of any age, including seniors and those looking for a gentle introduction to yoga. The class is structured around rejuvenating the body, including stretches, breathing techniques, attention to alignment and meditation. Gentle yoga practice helps develop greater flexibility and can be effective in preventing and slowing bone density loss. Regular mindfulness meditation practice can help relieve stress and stay centered, and energized.
