👖❤️Denim Day for Dementia ❤️👖

This Denim Day for Dementia, show your support by wearing your favourite denim outfit on 27th February.

We are delighted to be supporting The Alzheimer Society of Ireland this year with their Denim Day for Dementia event and our neighbours here in Blackrock.

We see day to day the great work done by the organization with Clients attending day centres, family carer training and social clubs. Together, we can create a difference for the 64,000 people in Ireland living with dementia!

We encourage all to support this cause, let’s wear denim and make a difference.

Hilary has been with us since 2012 and has supported countless clients and caregivers across the city with dedication, compassion, and professionalism.

Love is what brought me to home care ❤

Aine shared her story with us on how her own personal experience brought her to home care.

My start into home care began at home when my father was diagnosed with dementia. Caring for him showed me what real support means: having compassionate people you can trust and the comfort of staying in familiar surroundings.

Home care gives my family the breathing room we need. It lets us shop for groceries, attend appointments, and rest while knowing my father is safe. That experience taught me how much families depend on caregivers for both practical help and peace of mind.

I chose this career because I wanted to support other families facing similar circumstances.

My time working with Dovida has only strengthened that commitment. Every day, I see the empathy and dedication that goes into supporting clients, carers, and families.
