This Autumn ’s Little Learners is opening new locations in Slane and Duleek– starting from September! 🎉
✨ What makes us special?
• Small groups → more teacher attention for each and everyone 💕
• Age-appropriate classes
🌱 1–3 years – first social moments and little steps towards big milestones (talking, moving, independence).
🌟 3–6 years– creative games and hands-on fun that boost curiosity, motor skills and give a great start before preschool.
🏵️ Clear class structure → kids feel safe, engaged, and know what’s coming next
🏵️ Play-based learning → where socialisation, motor skills, and imagination grow hand in hand

. ☁️🌧️✨ Rainy Day Fun with the Little Ones! ✨🌧️☁️

This week we dived into the magical world of rain, drops & clouds 🌦️💧.
We talked about what it means to be dry and wet🙌, coloured in fluffy clouds🎨☁️, and made them extra special by adding soft cotton balls 🐑for that 3D effect, and topped it all off with a little sparkle ✨ (because everything’s better with glitter, right?).

At home, you can keep the rainy day magic going:

🔎💧 Raindrop Hunt – Hide paper “raindrops” around the room and let your little one collect them.
🎶☂️ Umbrella Dance – Pop on some music, dance with an umbrella, freeze like a statue when the music stops!
🥁🌧️ Pitter-Patter Sounds – Tap water cups with fingers/spoons to make your own rain music.

So simple, so joyful, and perfect for those cosy rainy afternoons🌈.

🌈 ABC Fun Time! 🌈

💡 Learning letters = fun + sensory + creativity!
Tip: Start with the letters your child knows (like their name!) & add music or art — it sticks better! 🎶

Our little explorers got to:
🎨 Paint the first letter of their name in bright, happy colors.
🤲 Leave a handprint next to it — a memory as unique as their tiny palms!
🌾 Dive into a rice sensory bin to find hidden letter shapes and sort them into the right boxes — like real alphabet detectives! 🔍

Why we love this activity:
💡 Boosts letter recognition in a fun, hands-on way.
💡 Strengthens fine motor skills (perfect for those future pencil grips ✏️).
💡 Encourages sensory exploration and creativity all at once.

Teacher’s Tip (inspired by Irish early years methods):
1️⃣ Start with the letters that mean something to your child — like the first letter of their name.
2️⃣ Introduce letters through play, art, and songs before moving to formal writing — it makes the learning stick and feel like an adventure.

Because learning letters isn’t just about reading… it’s about making memories along the way. 💖

☀️ Farewell, Summer — You’ve Been Gas! ☀️

We gave summer a proper send-off with some messy, giggly crafting fun! 🎉🍦
Our Little Learners made ice cream cones out of cotton balls (don’t worry, no sugar rush involved!). Fluffy scoops, “sprinkles”, and lots of proud little faces showing off their creations.

Also we whipped up some fruity bead kebabs – threading colourful wooden beads onto sticks to make pretend fruit skewers. Great for little hands and even better for big imaginations!

Loads of laughs, a bit of glue in unexpected places, and a whole lot of summer memories wrapped up in one crafty session.

Roll on jumpers and crunchy leaves – but for now, we’re still soaking up the last of the sunshine. 🌈

🐸 Hop, skip, and jump into learning! 🐸

This week in our Child-parent class in Drogheda and Donore, we leaped into a froggy adventure!
With tissue paper, googly eyes, and a whole lot of imagination, we crafted our very own little frogs—each one as unique and wiggly as the kids who made them. 👀🎨

It was a splashy mix of creativity, learning, and laughter. 🐸💚
