A young guy presented to emergency Deptt with history of pulling heavy stuff awkwardly and experience pain in the right shoulder. Shoulder was in adduction ans externally rotated. Under intraarticular lignocain 2 ℅ , L Parkash method was performed and got perfectly reduced. Pre and post reduction CMS intact. Put in sling and scheduled for OPD follow up.

A 40 years female presented to emergency department with history of RTA (Patient vs bike) . She sustained isolated closed injury of of right shoulder and xray confirmed as anterior dislocation. Under analgesia, I reduced it using "L Prakash maneuver " For shoulder relocation. Pre and post reduction CMS intact.Post reduction film is satisfactory.Patient was put in polysling and scheduled for outpatient clinic.



N:B: L Prakash maneuver is very effective, pain free technique without any anaesthesia. It can be performed by a single practitioner.

👉The key is to keep the arm in abduction and external rotation for 1 mint and and be gentle during the maneuver to avoid muscle spasms.

A young guy presented to orthopedic clinic with 3/52 history of deformity on the Right forearm. He was managed poorly during initial reduction by a local practitioner. I did corrective osteotony followwd by DCP plating of both bone forearm. Length, alignment and rotation was satisfactory as seen in the post op film.
