Ageing changes how genes are switched on and off over time, altering which instructions each cell in the body actually reads.

Alongside this, the body gradually loses its capacity to detect and respond appropriately to food and energy.

And there is the slow buildup of signalling proteins known as cytokines in the space between cells, which over time quietly erodes the body’s normal functions.

Each of these hallmarks of ageing contributes to the ageing process on its own. Together they compound and that compounding is what your most complex patients are living with right now.

The emerging science around these hallmarks is shifting how functional medicine practitioners are thinking about patient care and FMC 2026 is built entirely around that shift.

This November at the Hogan Suite, Croke Park, Dublin, our international expert speakers will be covering the full clinical landscape of advancing healthspan across two days of education.

Dr Robert Rountree
Dr Deanna Minich
Dr Datis Kharrazian
Dr Joel Evans
Heidi Jackson
Dr Shania Seeber
Dr Gary Goldman
Pete Williams

Golden Ticket holders also get exclusive in-person access to a Masterclass with Dr Datis Kharrazian on Chronic Pain: A Functional Medicine Approach at the Croke Park Hotel on the 2nd of May, plus a complimentary 12-hour Longevity Course worth US$795 with full CPD accreditation included.

Most women spend decades chasing symptoms, adjusting doses and wondering why they still feel like strangers in their own bodies.

What if the missing piece is a better framework for understanding what the body is actually trying to do?

At this year’s FMC Annual Event, Dr Deanna Minich is presenting across two sessions that will genuinely shift how you approach women’s health in practice.

Day 1 She will talk on: A Woman’s Endocrine Symphony: Where Science Meets Spirit Across the Lifespan.

On day 2, Dr Minich will look at: The 7 Rhythms of Life: Aligning Biology, Consciousness, and Cosmos for Whole-Person Health.

Dr Minich is a nutrition scientist, functional medicine practitioner, educator and internationally recognised speaker specialising in longevity, phytonutrients, whole-food nutrition and women’s health.

She is the author of several books, including The Rainbow Diet and Whole Detox, and is known for her “Rainbow Diet” framework linking colourful plant foods and phytonutrients to whole-person health and metabolic resilience.

Dr Minich serves as adjunct faculty in nutrition and functional medicine programmes and is a Fellow of the American College of Nutrition and a Certified Nutrition Specialist. She was the 2025 recipient of the Linus and Ava Helen Pauling Award in Functional Medicine.

Join us on the 14th and 15th of November in the Hogan Suite at Croke Park, Dublin, one of Ireland’s most iconic venues, for two days that could genuinely change the direction of your practice.

Most events give you a notebook full of ideas and LinkedIn connections you never follow up on but FMC 2026 is built differently…

And our Golden Ticket opportunity is where that difference really shows up.

It starts on Saturday the 2nd of May at the Croke Park Hotel, where Dr Datis Kharrazian, in collaboration with the Kharrazian Institute, is running an exclusive in-person Masterclass on Chronic Pain: A Functional Medicine Approach - and Golden Ticket holders are the only people in the room.

Not a webinar recording, instead we are running a top level bonus clinical training with one of the most respected educators in functional medicine, with lunch included and a complimentary 12-hour Longevity Course worth US$795 with full CPD accreditation to keep afterwards.

Then 14-15th November arrives and so do you, into the Hogan Suite at Croke Park for two days with our top class speakers.

Your ticket covers everything: all days of admission, 16 CPD hours, all presentation PDFs, post-conference recorded content, lunch and refreshments throughout both days, a goodie bag, special hotel rates and a networking experience with practitioners who think the way you do.

If your practice, your patients and your own professional development matter to you, and we know they do because you are still reading this, then click the link in the bio - the Golden Ticket has limited seats and is only available until 1st May.

The science of longevity medicine is rewriting everything we thought we knew about how the body ages.

This year at the FMC annual conference, we’re looking at one question: how do we help people not just live longer, but live better for longer?

We’re going into the clinical science of inflamm-ageing and cellular senescence, the biological processes quietly driving almost every age-related condition you’re seeing in practice. We’re exploring how nutrition and lifestyle choices are either protecting or destroying mitochondrial function and what that means for chronic disease outcomes in your patients.

What functional medicine experts are uncovering at a cellular level is wider than it has ever been and your patients are already noticing.
They’re coming to you having done the research, they know about mitochondrial dysfunction and they’re asking about inflammation and why their body feels like it’s ageing faster than it should.

They want to know why their energy is gone, why their brain isn’t sharp and why every standard blood test comes back “normal” when nothing about how they feel is normal and they’re looking to you for answers that actually go somewhere.

Join us on the 14th-15th of November in the Hogan Suite at Croke Park, Dublin, one of Ireland’s most iconic venues, for two days that could genuinely change the direction of your practice.

Comment FMC and we will send you the early bird ticket link when it goes live.

Speaker Spotlight Post - we’re delighted to welcome Dr Robert Rountree to FMC 2026.

Most doctors treat the symptom.
Dr. Bob Rountree treats the timeline.
For over four decades, he’s been quietly rewriting what medicine should look like - long before “functional medicine” was even a phrase.

Since 1983, he’s practiced root cause medicine in Boulder, Colorado blending nutrition, lifestyle, and personalised care when the rest of the world was still writing prescriptions and moving on.

He’s a founding faculty member of the Institute for Functional Medicine.
He’s a recipient of the prestigious Linus Pauling Functional Medicine Award.
He’s co-authored the Textbook of Functional Medicine.

And this November, he’s coming to Croke Park.
At FMC Ireland 2026, Dr Rountree will be speaking on:

1. Mitochondrial Dysfunction & Chronic Disease

2. Inflamm-Aging & Cellular Senescence

If you’re a health professional who wants to understand why your patients aren’t getting better and what to actually do about it - this is the room you need to be in.

14–15 November | Hogan Suite, Croke Park, Dublin. Comment FMC and we will send early bird ticket link to you when it launches.
