St. Patrick may have chased the snakes out, but Muno workers chase the rubbish out of Dublin City on March 17th. They'll do the same this Easter but they need the resources!
More than 450 waste management workers volunteered to work 12 hour shifts over St. Patrick's Day weekend, giving up rest days and coming in from peripheral deports to support their colleagues in the city centre.
DCC waste management supervisor and Fórsa member Paddy Stack said : “The work of our members on St. Patrick’s Day shows what can be achieved when services are properly staffed. Now we need to see that extra resourcing go into the day-to-day.”

Let them play! Help us fill a container for GAA Palestine

We are proudly supporting the campaign to get GAA equipment to children in the West Bank. Last day to donate is Tuesday 31st at Fórsa in Nerney’s Court, Dublin 1.

We need (new equipment only):
• Hurls
• Helmets
• Sliotars
• Gumshields
• Training gear
• Kids’ kits and club gear

Our office is open from 8.30am-8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am-5pm Saturday, to collect the donations.

Civil Service Win! Through local bargaining, Civil Service workers will get a pay increase (backdated to September 2025), and point ‘skips’ will apply within the pay scale as well. Well done to members. Info in comments
