A Stark Reality Check for Sláintecare: The report on ‘Morale among Health and Social Care Workers’ should be a wake-up call to the health and care sector employers, political leaders and stakeholders.

We're launching this report at the Dáíl today, making it very clear that health and social care workers' voices need to be heard at every level of decision-making. Well done to every member who took part in the survey and focus groups.

Win on CORU fees for Physiotherapists!

Following a months long non-compliance campaign, CORU dropped the €50 registration and renewal fee introduced this summer for those referring for radiological procedures.

This was an imposed additional fee, so this sends an important message that members won’t accept unnecessary costs.

Cabin crew ballot in Aer Lingus! It’s on a pay proposal that the branch recommends members reject.
Aer Lingus announced its intention to implement a 3% pay increase from Jan 2026, regardless of the ballot and despite it not addressing the broader pay issues cabin crew face. This is in a year that has seen enormous profitability for the airline.
