DANU was used as a remote analysis tool for three Irish international Hockey Players competing in the Hockey1 league in Australia.

Using DANU as a screening and performance progression tool demonstrated how each athlete responded to chronic load in their gait and plyometric based activities.

Rehabbing an injury?

Quantify balance assessments using DANU’s own Stability Score metric.

Combined with area, width, & length of ellipse, as well as displacement figures, not only can you obtain a measure of how stable the centre of pressure is for each foot, but also how each limb fights to maintain a stable posture.

A score of 10 in the DANU Stability Score indicates a perfectly stable performance where centre of pressure does not move, while a score of 1 indicates a very unstable performance.

We had the pleasure of using the Sport Ireland Institute of Sport track during the summer for a pilot testing day with University of Limerick PhD student Shane Hassett. Shane will be using DANU to research the Sprint Spike Shoe Biomechanics.
