Trying to conceive over 40? Age alone does not tell the full story.

If you are still cycling, ovulating and your partner’s fertility is optimised, pregnancy over 40 is very possible. In my practice, I see it happen regularly.

The key is not rushing straight to IVF, but understanding and addressing the root cause first. With the right medical support, many women conceive naturally or with gentle intervention, even in their forties.

Count, movement and shape matter.
But DNA fragmentation can be the hidden factor behind recurrent miscarriage or difficulty conceiving.

How do you know if you might have PCOS? 🧐

Irregular cycles are often the first sign women notice. But they are rarely the only one.

Other common signs include excess facial or body hair, weight gain around the waist and difficulty getting pregnant. These are not things to ignore or push through.

PCOS can be identified through proper medical assessment including blood tests, ultrasound and reviewing your egg reserve. And importantly, it is very treatable.

If you are trying to conceive, PCOS is not a dead end. In fact, with the right support, it can respond very well to fertility treatment.

If your periods are irregular, reach out and get checked. Clarity is always the first step.
