Your body is always working for you.
World Health Day is a reminder to return the favour.

It’s in the small choices.
The moments of rest.
The times we actually listen to what our body is trying to tell us.

Health isn’t just physical. It’s how we sleep, how we cope with stress, how we feel emotionally, and how connected we are to ourselves.

That’s where holistic therapies like reflexology come in.

Reflexology works by supporting the body as a whole - not just focusing on one symptom, but encouraging balance across different systems. By applying pressure to specific reflex points on the feet, it may help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, support sleep, and create the conditions your body needs to function at its best.

It’s about giving your body the space to reset, regulate, and restore.

This World Health Day, maybe the focus isn’t on doing more…

👣 supporting teen well-being... because being a teen can be hard enough

Being a teenager now is a lot.

There’s constant input - school, expectations, screens, friendships, pressure to figure things out - often all happening at once, and rarely with much space to switch off. It’s not surprising that sleep can feel off, energy can dip, and emotions can feel all over the place.

Reflexology offers something simple but often missing. A chance to pause.

By encouraging the body to slow down and step out of that constant “on” mode, reflexology may help support better rest, improved focus, and a greater sense of balance. It’s not about fixing anything or having all the answers, but about giving the nervous system a break and allowing the body to reset.

For many teens, it’s one of the few times they’re not being asked to perform, respond, or keep up. Just to be.

And sometimes, that’s exactly what’s needed.

It's OK to have a day or a couple of hours where you don't have to rush or watch the clock, you need it, your nervous system needs it...

take time to really savour & enjoy your cuppathis morning..
Take time to enjoy having your lunch without thinking of what's next on your to-do list...
today... just be 💜 even for a little while.

Filling up my own cup ☕️ I hadn't realised I had let myself slip lower on my to do list, so taking time to give back to myself, taking some me time, time to just be and breathe. 💜 sometimes you don't realise how much you need it, until you're up on the treatment bed, switching off!

Enjoyed a fabulous foot reflexology session with my amazing friend and neighbour, Úna... and have booked in again next week... thank you Úna. x I'm looking forward to next week already! .stillpoint.reflexology
