๐Ÿ“ TT STARS WATERFORD โ€“ CLUB UPDATE ๐Ÿ“

Weโ€™re delighted to be fully up and running at our new home in Kingfisher Hall, Waterford Regional Sports Centre.

As promised, weโ€™ve now introduced a full weekly schedule:

Mondays 7:00โ€“9:00pm โ€“ Open Play

Fridays 6:00โ€“7:30pm โ€“ Structured Training Session

Fridays 7:30โ€“9:00pm โ€“ Open Play

Following strong feedback from players, weโ€™re especially pleased to reintroduce properly structured training sessions on Fridays at 6:00pm, open to all ages and skill levels. These sessions are designed to help players improve while keeping the club welcoming and inclusive. Open play remains available for anyone who just wants to play.

Looking ahead, we also have exciting activities coming up, including:

School programmes and a schools festival

Inclusive sessions in partnership with the National Learning Network

Club tournaments and internal events

A Women in Sport programme in March

And some upcoming media coverage for the club ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ“ป

If youโ€™re looking to get into table tennis, return to the sport, or just play in a friendly, well-organised club environment, youโ€™re very welcome to join us.

Clubs & Disability Organisations across Waterford โ€“ this oneโ€™s for you!

Weโ€™re offering โ‚ฌ500 to help you run a 4-week programme that gets more women and girls involved in sport and physical activity. Your programme must begin during Women in Sport Week (2ndโ€“8th March 2026) and focus on welcoming new participants into your club.

Weโ€™ll fund 12 clubs/organisations โ€“ could one be yours?

If youโ€™ve a great idea to open your doors, try something new and grow female participation in your club, nowโ€™s the time to act!

Weโ€™ve teamed up with Waterford Boat Club to deliver an 8-week Beginner Rowing Programme just for girls aged 12 & 13 โ€“ a brilliant way to get active, build confidence and have fun on the water.
