Another successful Irish Life Health Steps Challenge complete for 2026 at Dohenys GAA 💫

Well done to all those that took part across the community and whom contributed to the 2nd place finish in Munster of over 300 clubs!! We clocked up a whopping 38,000kms and had over 190 walkers take part of all ages and abilities 🤗 What a way to kick-start the year 🙌

We look forward to 2027 already and we are excited to have our new walkway up and running for that challenge💥 Keep an eye on this page for upcoming Healthy Club activities and to see what's next! Thanks for all the support 🙏

🙌Last day of the Irish Life Health Steps Challenge 2026. Currently sitting in 2nd position in Munster with over 38,000kms! Not bad going for a small community 💫

One last push by everyone involved (over 190 of you) 💪

A group walk will take place this Wednesday night at 7.30pm from the GAA Pavilion, so lets give it one last push & celebratethis wonderful feat 👏

Tea & Coffee will be provided afterwards

As we enter week three of the Irish Life Health Steps Challenge Dohenys are still flying in 1st place with over 20,000kms!!!! What a phenomenal achievement and we are only half way through 💚🤍

Remember the group walk will take place each Wed at 7.30pm for people to meet up & clock some steps together while having the chats 💫 We were delighted with the turn out last Wed so look forward to seeing everyone again this Wednesday 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️

The group walk is starting this Wed Jan 14th and we hope to see everyone out walking! We will do a local loop from the GAA grounds suitable for all fitness levels.
