Doheny GAA Healthy Club activities have been a bit quiet the last few weeks but we have lots planned for the next few months 🤗

To kick start us again we are linking in with Dunmanway Hillwalking CLUB to host a group walk of the newly launched Dunmanway Trails on July 3rd 💫

The Healthy Club Initiative are delighted to support and promote local amenities in the community, so come along and join us on July 3rd!

An inspirational evening certainly awaited us last night at the Cork County Council & Healthy Ireland Power Up Your Mind event proudly hosted by Doheny GAA Healthy Club 💫

All the speakers were fantastic at exploring how healthy eating, resilience and managing stress can all support our positive mental health and wellbeing 🫶 Thanks to Niall McCarthy, Jennifer O Callaghan and Dr Ant Kiernan for the wonderful insights! Thanks also to the Dunmanway Library for their input 👏

Huge thanks for those that attended especially our younger audience, it was great to see a great mix of ages and hopefully everyone enjoyed the evening. The Doheny GAA healthy club initiative appreciate the support of promoting and getting behind all these events as they are crucial to the health and wellbeing of our wider communit 💚🤍.

Week 2 group walk was another success with a great gang out for the Irish Life Health challenge 🤗 The group did just under 5k this week, was great to see all ages out walking 👏

Dohenys are doing very well in Munster, currently sitting in 3rd place with a whopping 14,618 kms in just under 3 weeks 💚🤍

Keep it up everyone, same time again next Wed 7.30pm 💫
