In conjunction with the Doheny Ladies Football Club involvement in the Lidl Ireland in promoting mental health awareness .. we are asking everyone to join us in the GAA pavilion this Thursday for a FREE talk on nutrition with Sinead O Connell.

This may be helpful especially for our young players facing exams soon or anyone who would like some information or help in finding the best foods for helping our mental health.. 🍌🍍🥑🥔🌽🥜

As part of the Doheny Ladies Football Club involvement in the Lidl Ireland the Healthy club is delighted to promote this fantasic upcoming event! The WALK & TALK event at the NEW Sam Maguire Walkway at the pitch.

This is especially aimed at all our players young & old promoting how getting outdoors benefits our mental health & helps improves our mood ☺️🌅
So ditch the phones… 📱🚫 put the stress of books & exams away for an hour, grab a pal, a sister, a brother & friend , bring the whole family…🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️👭and let’s WALK & TALK & enjoy this Bank holiday Sunday 🌅

Watch out for some pass the parcel prizes along the way … . 👀 💅 💄🎁 maybe a few pampering treats might just make your day 🫶

It was another full house for our seasonal workshop last nite as part of our Doheny GAA Healthy Club Activities 🌷🌻🐣

This session was a celebration for Easter, coming together to craft something using local materials, Spring foleage, upcycling some old bits & learning something new 💫Huge thanks to Phil Collins for the demos and all the bits & pieces supplied👏 Thanks to SuperValu Ireland Dunmanway also for the fresh flowers🌻We also raffled 4 wonderful creations made by herself to those who attended 🌟 I think ye will all agree the finished pieces were wonderful ❤️

Thanks to our committee for organising and the lovely treats enjoyed by all, it was a wonderful evening and we look forward to the next one. Happy Easter 👏

Thanks to everyone that supported our little Swap Shop idea last week, we hope that some gear got a second chance for the season ahead and you picked up bits also!

Next up is our Doheny GAA Healthy Club Easter workshop on March 31st 🐣Following a successful Christmas workshop there was great interest in getting together and making/creating something for Easter 🎨.

We will continue with the DIY crafting and we will provide the supplies to create:
* Small Flower Arrangements
* Glass Bottle Decorations
€5 contribution towards the class
